WHY IT’S A GOOD MEAL

Chicken chili gets a bland rap, but we put a lot of work into making sure this one has PLENTY of flavor. Onions and garlic get charred on an open flame. Cumin and dried chilis get toasted, hydrated, and pureed.

You could do so much with that tomatoey-chili base, but we use it to cook Joyce farms chicken, and add diced sweet potatoes, for extra flavor and slow carbs. Like always, we’ve got your back with a full meal here. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

Ground chicken, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, garlic, chilies (ancho, guajillo, chipotle), smoked paprika, cider vinegar, scallions, salt.

REHEATING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Reheat in microwave or on a stovetop, stirring first if you’re only serving part of the container — ingredients are layered in the containers.

  2. If reheating on a stovetop, heat a couple of tablespoons of water to simmering, then add soup to prevent sticking. If soup is thicker than you’d like — grains and beans can continue to absorb water as soup cools — add a little more water or broth and adjust seasoning to taste.
